  • Early Career and Specialization
    In the early years of his career, Duglas Cordero focused on advancing research in sports medicine, specifically in the areas of rehabilitation, high-performance physical training, and athlete preparation across various disciplines. During this time, he had the opportunity to work closely with three elite pitchers from the Cienfuegos baseball team: Adiel Palma, Norberto Gonzales, and Yosvani Perez. All three were standout players on the Cuban National Baseball Team, earning Olympic and World Championship titles.
  • Teaching and Professional Contributions
    From 1998 to 2001, Duglas served as a member of the Scientific Committee at the Sports Medicine Center in Cienfuegos, where he also acted as a jury member at various sports medicine scientific events. He contributed his expertise to the Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, helping shape the future of the discipline.
  • Between 1995 and 2001, Duglas advised numerous regional teams in strength and power development, working with athletes in baseball, weightlifting, athletics, rowing, soccer, volleyball, swimming, basketball, cycling, and more. In addition, he guided 12 thesis students at the Carlos Rafael Rodríguez University in Cienfuegos, Cuba, where he conducted research on exercise physiology, sports rehabilitation, and physical preparation.

    Duglas Cordero's professionalism, efficiency, and dedication have earned him widespread recognition, particularly in Viña del Mar, Chile, where he made significant contributions to the rehabilitation and preparation of top national athletes over the course of 11 years. His work in the region earned him a place in the Chilean Society of Sports Medicine, and he became a trusted figure in several medical and sports rehabilitation clinics. Notably, he worked at esteemed centers such as the Cuban Medical Center (SEMEFIC), the Medical Center (COMIN), and the Research Center for Sports Rehabilitation.

Professional Experience
Mr. Cordero began his career as a Sports Science Specialist at the Cienfuegos Sports Medicine Center, Cuba, where he focused on sports assessment and rehabilitation. He gained extensive experience in evaluating and rehabilitating athletes, working closely with both amateur and professional sportspeople to enhance performance and prevent injury.
